Once site is submitted to search engines, its spiders (also known as crawlers) visit your site and crawls it. Crawling involves looking at the tags, text and following all the links it can find.
Be friendly to these crawlers, because if they can’t read your site pages, they can’t include them in index and so search results.

Gone are those days when you needed to pay 4-5$ pm for hosting your website. These days web hosting has become extremely affordable with the reseller accounts in practice.
I personally used to pay 4$ for godaddy hosting plan, and it was always cost factor before I could think of implementing a website idea.
Thanks to the reseller accounts available around and now I can host unlimited websites with near unlimited bandwidht and diskspace for under 10$ a month. Great isn’t it.

Mambo and Joomla are probably newest and most exciting open source available today. However as with every open source their core lacks some real SEO work which should have been present.
The default search engine friendly URLs feature is optional in both CMS and has specific pre-conditions. It needs to have the site be hosted on apache only server with mod_rewrite enabled, .htaccess override enabled.
Even after getting this working, all you get urls are like http://www.yourdomain.com/section id/cat id/content id. This is not enough search engine friendly as it misses out the title of article in URL.
